Laboratory of Clinical Pharmaceutics

Application of PK/PD theory for the proper usage of medical products

  1. Construction of individualized administration design methods for various infectious disease therapeutic agents
This is a clinical study aimed at promoting the proper usage of antibacterial and antifungal medicines in collaboration with medical institutions nationwide. Through clarifying the relationship (PK/PD) between pharmacokinetics (PK) and the medical efficacy or harmful side effects (PD), our goal is to construct an optimal administration design method tailored for each patient with a severe infectious disease.
  2. Construction of individualized administration design methods for various antineoplastic medicines and immunosuppressive medicines
There is a need to optimize the dosages of various antineoplastic medicines and immunosuppressive medicines for each individual patient, starting with Busulfan, which is used for the pretreatment of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Our goal is to construct an optimal administration design method for each individual patient with antineoplastic medicines, collaborating with medical institutions nationwide.
