Laboratory of Medical Pharmaceutics

In the Biopharmaceutics Laboratory, as basic pharmaceutical research, we are designing various controlled release formulations by manufacturing various new medicine release support bodies from lipids or macromolecules, and are engaged in the following research. Additionally, as a pharmacy pedagogical research, our goal is to develop pharmacists who can propose prescriptions based on a new core curriculum, and be involved in the development of active learning materials using IT networks and human body simulators.

  • Development of insulin-effective pharmaceuticals using self-assembled nanogel
  • Development of new pharmaceuticals using natural or synthetic polymer nanofibers
  • Development of a drug delivery system by lipid nanosphere
  • Improvement of gastrointestinal absorption of the antioxidant component coenzyme Q10
  • Improvement of gastrointestinal absorption by microencapsulation of bisphosphonate pharmaceuticals
  • Development of simulation teaching materials for home medical practice
