English Training in Japan
TOEFL® Camp
We offer a 4-night, 5-day training camp with the primary goals of increasing TOEFL® and IELTS scores, and making friends with other students who are aiming to study abroad. A native English lecturer will help students to improve their comprehensive and practical English proficiency, with a focus on speaking and writing.
English Camp
We offer a 2-night, 3-day training camp that focuses on improving English communication skills necessary for daily life and business situations. Students will learn how to convey things about themselves and their opinions in an easy to understand manner while getting a feeling of a study abroad environment, under the instruction of a native speaker.
Basic English Study Abroad Course
This is an Overseas Study Abroad Preparation Seminar where students can learn basic knowledge before going abroad. They will also learn study strategies for TOEFL iBT® and IELTS. It's a Basic Course for the purpose of gaining basic English ability that would be useful at the study abroad destination.
English Chat Room
Held 2-3 times a week, this is a place where students can enjoy a casual conversation on a decided theme with a native speaker. Learn effective English conversation.
English Speaking & Writing Support
Individual guidance on how to write English essays from a native speaker lecturer. Learn how to write natural and easy to understand English essays.
ESSR（English Study Support Room）
A self-study facility established at the Kyotanabe campus, with the goal of increasing TOEFL® and IELTS scores.
Further Enhancing Foreign Language Education Measures Through the University
We have been restructuring our English curriculum over the past few years, with the goal of further enhancing foreign language education, including second foreign language courses. In particular, English Reading is being reorganized into Comprehensive English, English Communication is being reorganized into Communication in English, and the 4 skills of speaking, listening, writing, and reading are going to be studied comprehensively. This is towards the goal of further improving communication abilities.
