Establishing two fields in developing human resources who can realize high-quality nursing practice

Doctoral program (first term) that trains human resources who can explore nursing phenomena with research ability based on nursing theory and implementation, and nursing practice ability that integrates evidence and narrative. This major features the Nursing Research and Midwifery Practice Fields, as the Nursing Research Field includes Clinical Nursing Fields such as Adult Nursing, Women’s Health, and the Wide-Range Nursing Fields includes Elderly/Home Nursing and Public Health Nursing.

Develop educational and research abilities to explore practical and applicable nursing theory construction and methods

The second term of the doctoral program deepens the education and research from the first term, and cultivates the high-level of research ability necessary for research activities as an independent nursing researcher, and the plentiful academic knowledge that will form the basis of this. A total of four special courses will be placed in the two areas of Clinical Nursing Area and Wide-Range Nursing Area in the Nursing Research Field, enabling specialized courses in accordance with each person’s research orientation.
