Doctoral Program in Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (four-year program: maximum capacity 4 students) endeavors to respond to societal demands for treatment of intractable diseases and safety of medicine through research and practice of clinical pharmacy, which connects medical care and drug discovery in advanced pharmacological treatment. Students systematically acquire expertise in pharmacy as a comprehensive area of study that combines basic pharmacy and clinical pharmacy. We aim to nurture professional specialists with advanced expertise and excellent research skills who can contribute to the enhancement of clinical pharmacy in universities and research institutions, medical care facilities, private sectors and local governments, and instructors who train such individuals. We are also eager to accept mature students and offer a special entrance examination for mature applicants including pharmacists working in medical practice.
